The new ultra modern home being called the "Wing Home" by media and designers (who have sure been talking about it!) was built from the recycled parts of a retired 747 jet. Three hundred and fifty tons of scrap metal was re-imagined as a house high atop a mountain in Malibu. Designers wanted to make use of as many of the plane's parts as possible. What was not recycled from the 747 was the great amount of glass provided by GlasPro. The home features seemingly endless amounts of crystal clear Starphire glass surrounding it's shell. There are many uniquely sized and shaped windows in the home. This project aimed to be a true one of a kind. And it did not fall short of that goal.
